Shiraz Uppal is excited about his third soundtrack for A.R Rahman

Shiraz Uppal, who recently went to India to record the title track of movie ‘Ranjhanaa’ praised A.R Rahman’s companionship and said that it is always fun to work with him.

Ranjhanaa’s title track is not his first project with A.R Rahman. Shiraz had done two other tracks as well; one for Tamil film ‘Boys’ and another for Bollywood movie ‘Nayak’.
According to Shiraz, “I am very excited about the track. It’s always fun to do a song with A.R Rahman,” he added “I love his arrangement and composition.”
Ranjhanaa features Sonam Kapoor and Kolaveri Di star Dhanush in lead roles. The movie will be released on 21st June this year. The title track of the movie has been written by famous lyricist Irshad Kamil. Shiraz says that Irshad is one of his favourite lyricists.
Shiraz said that this is not his first experience with Rahman as he had done some concerts with him also. He reminded of  ’One World Peace’ concert in which he shared the stage with A.R Rahman, Cyndi Lauper, Philip Philips, Natasha Bedingfield, Dave Mathews and many others.
