Zinda Bhaag is an upcoming Punjabi movie written and directed by Meenu Gaur and Farjad Nabi which is expected to be released this year. The movie has been produced by Meenu Gaur’s husband Mazhar Zaidi. The production of Zinda Bhaag started in March last year in Lahore and now the film is in it’s final editing stages.
The film stars Naseeruddin Shah as one of the central characters. This will be the second Pakistani movie starring Naseeruddin Shah after “Khuda Ke Liye”. He plays the role of a middleman who assists illegal immigration. The story actually revolves around the problems of three youngsters and how they manage to escape from situations through ways they’ve never thought about. The movie is all about illegal immigration and it’s impacts on the countries and people of sub-continent.
The music of “Zinda Bhaag” has been directed by Sahir Ali Bagga and features songs, sung by Amanat Ali, Arif Lohar and Rahat Fateh ali Khan.
